Jay Harbison
Jay Harbison was previously Senior Director – Lease Acquisitions & Marketing for Sunoco Logistics. Prior to Sunoco, Jay was Head of Crude Oil Logistics for EDF Trading in North America. Jay joined the company in October 2012 and was responsible for developing the crude oil logistics platform for EDF which sold to Sunoco Logistics. Prior to his time at EDF Trading, he held a variety of senior level assignments at Transmontaigne, Texon LP, TransCanada and EOTT Energy. Jay has a successful history of leading start-ups, developing innovative logistical solutions, and creating tremendous enterprise value over a short period of time. While at Texon, Jay led the business development efforts of a crude oil team that eventually sold to Sunoco Logistics for $205 million. Jay has experience with and has developed projects in all of the major producing basins of the U.S. A graduate of Louisiana State University, Harbison has more than 25 years of experience in energy logistics and is an expert on crude oil blending and strategy development.
John Jackson
John Jackson was previously Director – Lease Acquisition & Marketing for Sunoco Logistics. Prior to Sunoco, John managed all the physical asset operations of the EDF Trading Crude Logistics team. At EDF, John led the acquisition, negotiation, and due diligence of Lessley Services, a trucking company with over 75 crude oil transports. John has managed the transportation of crude oil, LPGs, refined products, chemicals, and all forms of hazardous materials for some of the biggest companies in North America. John spent 18 years at McKenzie Tank Lines on managing both operations financial, and commercial development. John managed a transportation business unit with $70 million per year of revenue at McKenzie Tank Lines. John has managed the regulatory implementation of a DOT compliant transportation business. John has B.A. in Accounting from Florida State University
Ross Weisser
Ross Weisser previously was Senior Manager – Lease Acquisition at Sunoco Logistics. Prior to Sunoco Ross led Business Development projects for the EDF Trading crude logistics team. At EDF Ross was influential in co-development of the Price River Terminal with Global One Transport, Inc. His responsibilities include lease purchasing, structuring, contract negotiation, business planning, and financial modeling. Ross was on the Natural Gas Origination team at EDF Trading where he originated, structured and negotiated a $50 million volumetric production payment with GMX Resources. Prior to EDF he spent 5 years as an analyst/associate at GasRock Capital, a $250 million oil and gas mezzanine fund. Ross’ background is in crude oil marketing, project economic analysis, reserve based energy lending, financial and credit analysis, and investment banking. Ross is a CFA Level III Candidate and previously held Series 7 and 63 licenses. Ross received a B.A. in Economics from Emory University in Atlanta.
